Also i did check my virus scanner, and i could not find anything that would make me think it would be blocking it. I have been doing it where my Steam folder is, so thats on my D drive, not C. Turns out the registry cleaner I have has been deleting some entries related to directsound. Alltho its very wierd that it runs the first time. Does that happen on your side too?
